1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Wormhood CA website and any purchases made through it. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to these terms. Wormhood CA is operated by an individual seller based in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. All transactions are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) and PIPEDA.

2. Products — Live Animals

Wormhood CA sells live red wiggler worms (Eisenia fetida) and related supplies. Because our products are living organisms, their condition can be affected by factors outside our control once they leave our premises (e.g., extreme temperatures, handling delays). We take care to package and prepare orders appropriately, but we cannot guarantee survival beyond the live-arrival guarantee described below.

All product weights and quantities are approximate. Minor variations (±5%) are normal for live organisms sold by weight.

3. Live Arrival Guarantee

We guarantee your worms will be alive and healthy at the time of pickup. If you receive a dead-on-arrival (DOA) order, please notify us within 24 hours of pickup with a photo of the affected worms. We will offer a replacement or store credit at our discretion. This guarantee is void if:

• The worms are not picked up within the scheduled window
• The claim is made more than 24 hours after pickup
• The worms are exposed to extreme heat, cold, or chemicals after pickup

4. Pickup

All orders are available for pickup in Scarborough, Ontario. A pickup window will be communicated at the time of order confirmation. Unclaimed orders held beyond the scheduled window may be cancelled without refund, as live animals cannot be held indefinitely. It is your responsibility to arrange pickup within the stated window.

5. Payment

All prices are listed and charged in Canadian dollars (CAD). Payment is processed securely at checkout. We do not store your payment card information. Orders are confirmed only after successful payment.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel an order before it is prepared for pickup. Once an order is marked ready for pickup, we cannot accept cancellations except under the live-arrival guarantee (Section 3). Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days where applicable.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Resell our products commercially without prior written permission
• Misrepresent the origin or quality of products purchased from us
• Use this site to submit fraudulent orders or chargebacks in bad faith
• Attempt to disrupt, scrape, or abuse this website or its infrastructure

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Wormhood CA's total liability for any claim arising from your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the affected order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including losses resulting from how you use the worms after pickup.

9. Privacy & Cookies

We collect only the information necessary to process your order (name, email, pickup details) and communicate with you about it. This data is stored securely and is never sold to third parties.

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymized data about site traffic (pages visited, general geographic region, session duration). Under PIPEDA, we rely on implied consent for this type of low-sensitivity analytics — GA4 is active by default when you visit this site. A notice is shown on your first visit with an option to opt out at any time. If you opt out, GA4 will cease collecting cookie-based data about your session. Opting out does not affect your ability to browse or purchase from this site.

Your use of this site is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy where GA4 is active. We comply with PIPEDA and applicable Ontario privacy law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
